One of the ways to make your label stand out is embossing and debossing, which means that the labels are stamped with metal forms of relief, resulting in specific parts of the label to have additional dimension by being raised upwards or downwards. This method is used on paper labels and often for text, but also illustrations, to give a 3D effect with a texture that is also felt upon touch. Keep in mind that like any other special finishing, embossing and debossing requires special preparation, which increases production time and cost but with some planning and prioritisation it’s a good method to differ from the masses.
