Flexo printing enables us to use up to 8 colors per 1 label, including gold and silver Pantone colors. Flexography requires production of a separate printing plates for each color, usually a minimum of 4 plates. This is worthwhile for high volume orders as the unit costs drop dramatically in comparison from quantities of 100 000 and above. This method also enables sector varnishing, which can be used to highlight selected areas of your design. The production team at Wisby will determine whether there is a need for flexo and whether it’s optimal from a price perspective.
